A LEEDS man and his girlfriend have been shot dead by her jealous old boyfriend in Florida.

lt, 22, were gunned down early on Sunday at Miss Arseneault's home by 23-year-old Timothy Frechau who then fled to his own home and shot himself dead.
One unconfirmed report said that Miss Arseneault's relationship with Frechau had ended a fortnight earlier.
Mr Levitt died at the scene of the shooting and Miss Arseneault at Orlando's Regional Medical Centre.
Mr Levitt, who used to live in Holt Park, Leeds, and moved to the US as a 14-year-old, had been working for a telecommunications firm. It is reported he met Miss Arseneault while installing phones at a marketing and financial services firm where she worked.
In his spare time Mr Levitt played football for an amateur side St Andrews 1V in Altamonte Springs, north of Orlando, Florida.
Today teammate and friend of six years Keith Hayter said that Mr Levitt had been a fervent Leeds United and England football supporter and also enjoyed playing darts.
"He enjoyed the nightlife and worked hard, and the shooting was a big shock to his family and friends," said Mr Hayter.
One report said that Mr Levitt had recently ended a relationship with another girlfriend and had told friends he suspected that Alicia could be the love of his life.
St Andrews 1V manager, Jeff Sugar, who had known Mr Levitt for more than four years, said: "We've all taken it pretty hard because everybody here is tight-knit."
Mr Levitt's number seven team shirt will be donned by his best friend Mike Bungay when his teammates observe a minute's silence prior to their cup final match on May 20.
Friend of seven years standing John Winnik from Leeds who first met Mr Levitt in Florida is to fly to the state this weekend to pass Leeds United shirts to St Andrew's players to wear at his funeral.
He said: "It has been a complete shock."
