I moved to Morley from south Leeds just over six years ago because of my health.

What I have learnt over these years is that people who are Morley born and bred and especially the older people, are not
very welcoming at all to people outside Morley.

It is obvious how they behave towards you.

Morley will never prosper if this attitude continues.

Younger people are not being encouraged to move to Morley and start a business.

They have to realise that younger people are our future and should be made welcome, after all we are all equal wherever you come from in the country.

Editor’s Note: If you live in Morley, and agree – or disagree – do let us know your thoughts.

Sir Bruce Forsyth.
