THERE is a question I would like to pose to Mr Cameron and his government although I am non-voter, I don’t find it worthwhile voting today. We have now got public sector pensions in the headlines – that they must pay more in and get less out. Will this apply to MPs, as they are public sector workers? They are paid their salaries through the contributions of the British taxpayer.
We all remember Mr Cameron standing up and saying this is going to hurt, we are all – operative word all – in this together. If we are all in it together then his pensions and the pensions of all MPs must be curtailed like they want everyday workers to be.
It’s not good enough saying things and not meaning things.
