YOUR recent reports on the crime zones in Leeds were both interesting and disturbing. The crime rate in Leeds is completely out of control and too dangerously high to be ignored.
Leeds City Council is putting millions into new shopping developments which we don’t need and definitely don’t want.
Our money should be directed to the policing of our city. We need more police on the streets, also security guards, especially in the city centre, so we can at least feel safe to walk streets at all times.
The reduction of crime is the top priority with most Leeds residents. Forget the fancy shops and give our streets back.
