A new parenting channel is searching for a Yorkshire mum to star in a regular vlog.
Channel Mum has launched the Vlog Stars competition to give parents the chance to film themselves sharing stories about family life, relationships, sex, pregnancy, parenting, food shopping and more.
The online video community now reaches nine million people each month, and the winner will receive a 12-month paid contract and a Canon G7X camera.
“ChannelMum.com is the internet’s new village for mums to come together and share their hopes, experiences, tears and ideas - so we can’t wait to find a local mum to join us,” said founder Siobhan Freegard, who also set up Netmums.
The channel now has 300 vloggers from all over the UK, many of whom have been able to give up their full-time jobs and concentrate on making video diaries.
Entrants must record a 60-second video explaining why they would make a great parenting vlogger, and upload it onto Youtube as an unlisted video. If you already have your own channel, you can include highlights from your existing footage. Then complete the entry form at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/Z9JLTLN
