York: Rail commuters get a visit from travelling Little Urn

It has travelled across America but yesterday Little Urn was back in Yorkshire serving commuters cups of tea.

Taylor’s of Harrogate, producers of Yorkshire Tea, parked up Little Urn, their trusty travelling tea van, at York train station to serve tea to commuters throughout the day.

There was also an opportunity for people to have their pictures taken with the Little Urn tea van at the railway station.

Customers and East Coast teams were invited to attend and enjoy a cup of Yorkshire Gold – the tea East Coast currently sells on-board its service. The tea is a luxury blend harvested from the world’s finest tea gardens.

Visitors were also be invited to take away a free sample pack, and make the most of a photo opportunity with Little Urn, which is back from a recent tour of America.

The Little Urn tea van was be situated on platform 4 at York train station yesterday.
