YEP Says: Local heroes light up our Christmas
who better to switch on the Christmas lights than some of those sporting heroes who lit up our summer.
Leeds’s Olympic and Paralympic heroes will attend this year’s spectacular Christmas lights switch-on event.
Leeds-born triathletes Ali and Jonny Brownlee and Paralympian Kadeena Cox will be the special guests of honour at next week’s showpiece.
We hope our local heroes - and girl band Stooshe - will attract a big crowd to Victoria Gardens on The Headrow from 6.45pm on Thursday November 10.
Then we can start planning for Christmas!
