IT is easy to turn the other way and not get involved. It takes guts to two what two Leeds store staff did and follow their instincts.

Andrew Parkinson and Paul Muscroft showed ‘public spirited actions’ when they saw a man apparently stalking one of their customers.

They decided to check what was going on and their actions resulted in Nathan Rawson being arrested, convicted and sent to prison.

The judge said: “Both deserve praise for their brave and public spirited actions. They were seeking to protect her and they caused you to run. This was no doubt a terrifying incident for her.” We agree.
