IT IS fitting that a terminally-ill child will attending a charity football match in memory of a Leeds United fan.

Bradley Lowery is set to be the mascot for the game in Ossett, Wakefield, organised by Darren Powell in memory of his friend Michael Kew, who died aged 40 after a battle with cancer in 2015.

Importantly, a number of celebrities including soap stars and footballers will also take part.

With proceeds split between care for Bradley and Macmillan Cancer Support, let’s hope there is a good attendance and that both good causes benefit.
