That’s Amore in Meanwood will next month take over the next door unit previously occupied by a hairdresser’s, so a seating area can be installed to cater for diners who want to sit down to eat.

Owner Elvi Drizi says he is now looking for a ‘unique, one-of-a-kind name’ for the expanded business, to distinguish it from the many other eateries with the same name around the world.

He is asking YEP readers for help choosing a new name, which can be in English or Italian but has to reflect its food, personality and atmosphere.

Mr Drizi, a former manager at Flying Pizza in Roundhay, said: “The only reason to change our name was the fact that we are planning to grow and expand further in the future and for this reason we need a unique, one-of-a-kind name.

“We love That’s Amore and we’ve managed to gain some good reputation in the last two years but, unfortunately, it turned out that there are many other That’s Amore restaurants and pizzerias in the UK and worldwide.

“We are now looking for a unique, catchy and trendy name for our brand, which is now changing from just a takeaway to something bigger, we are turning it into a cosy family style eatery and takeaway.”

The restaurant is offering a three-course dinner for two with drinks in its new dining area for whoever comes up with the best name suggestion. Entries should be posted on the That’s Amore Facebook page by Sunday March 26.
