Once again, the use of disabled bays in supermarkets is being abused by those who are able bodied and think it’s fine to park in one.
This week I was visiting Asda in Killingbeck and I saw a young man, who I consider now a yob of the finest kind, sat in a bay and not displaying a blue badge.
I tapped on his window and mentioned that he should not be parking there without a badge. Of course this opened a floodgate of foul mouth proportions.
I told him I would call the police if he persisted in spewing forth his filthy mouth.
I went to a security man in the store and we both went out to talk to him.
Once again the same kind of filth came from this lout’s mouth, telling us he was waiting for his mother who was shopping in the store, and then said he had just come out of prison and had stolen the car!
There is a man who patrols the car park but not often enough.
He gives tickets out or warns those selfish enough to park where they shouldn’t. It’s time supermarkets employed wardens around the clock.
