TWO singers from West Yorkshire breezed through to the next round of the X Factor after auditioning on the ITV talent show at the weekend.
Kayleigh Manners, 23, from Harehills and 17-year-old Jack Walton, from Castleford, both got the maximum four yes votes after impressing celebrity judges with their singing and acoustic guitar playing.
Fitness instructor Kayleigh (pictured left) sang Sam Smith’s Stay With Me’.
Judge Mel B, from Leeds, told Kayleigh: “I really like that. I think you have got a really good quality to your voice and I like the whole look.” Simon Cowell told Kayleigh: “I love the way you look, I love the way that you sing, I love your song choice. I think we have just tapped the surface with you, 100 per cent yes.”
Pub singer Jack Walton, (pictured below) sang ‘Waves’ by Mr Probz. Judge Louis Walsh told him: “It’s great to have somebody that knows who they are and has got potential.”
