A WOMAN was taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering suspected spinal injures in a two-car crash in the  Guiseley area of Leeds this afternoon.

She was driving a VW Golf which was involved in collision with a Ford Focus on Queensway at its junction with Ruskin Cresent just before 1.30pm today. (Sat March 25)

Fire crews from Rawdon and Shipley cut the roof off the Golf to free the woman, who is believed to be aged in her fifties.
