Woman injured after car hit bungalow in Wakefield

A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after the car she was driving careered off the road and crashed into the side of a bungalow in Wakefield.

Emergency services were called to Woolgreaves Drive in Sandal at around 10am this morning (July 14).

The driver was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters.

Police said the woman had been taken to Leeds General Infirmary. Her injuries are not yet known.
