Woman cut from Tadcaster car crash

Firefighters had to cut the roof from a car to release a trapped woman driver after a crash outside Tadcaster.

A Nissan saloon was being driven along Wighill Lane at Wighill outside Tadcaster when it crashed and rolled onto its side at 6.44pm on Tuesday.

Fire crews from Tadcaster released the 31-years-old woman who suffered only slight cuts and bruises.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
