GUISELEY have confirmed the signing of Wrexham winger Adam Smith subject to international clearance from the FA - and he could make his debut in Saturday's National League clash with Barrow.

Former FC Halifax, Lincoln City, York City and Mansfield Town midfielder, Smith will move to Nethermoor on loan until January with the prospect of extending the deal likely to be discussed in the new year - and follows the recent loan signings of Liam Marsden and Anthony Dudley.

On Huddersfield-born Smith, 30, Bower said: "We’re delighted to be able to bring Adam in and hopefully we can get international clearance sorted sooner rather than later.

“He’s got plenty of experience at this level and we’re confident he can give us something extra in the final third as well as providing extra competition for our attacking players.”
