West Yorkshire sex offender back behind bars

A sex offender who disappeared while on licence is back behind bars today.

Scott Sorby, 20, went missing from an address in Bradford Road, Cleckheaton, on Friday, January 21.

Sorby, was out on parole, after serving part of a four-and-a-half years sentence imposed in 2008 for the attempted rape of a 20-year-old woman in Leeds.

Registered sex offenders are required to adhere to strict parole conditions, including informing police in any changes of address.

Under the conditions of of Sorby's bail he has been returned to prison.
