BREWER Thwaites is taking a walk on the wild side after bagging a licensing deal with Wakefield Wildcats.

The three-year agreement will see the rugby club stock Thwaites’ brews at locations around the stadium.

Desmond Gallagher, from Thwaites, said: “Rugby League has never been more popular in the UK and with Wakefield Wildcats at the top of their game, we’re looking forward to bringing our range of award-winning brews to a new audience of rugby sporting fans.”

Michael Carter, chairman at Wakefield Wildcats, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Thwaites to the club and thank them for their investment.”
