Leeds' new cat cafe has teased fans by releasing a preview video ahead of its official opening next month.

Kitty Cafe Leeds will open on Kirkgate on December 11.

Owner Katie Charles-Richards has now uploaded a promotional video to the Leeds branch's official website so customers know what to expect from the venture.

With footage shot in her original cafe in Nottingham, it provides a fascinating insight into how the rescue cats will interact with visitors.

Around 35 cats are expected to take up residence in the cafe - which was formerly occupied by Yorkshire Bank - and they will all be available for adoption.

Katie has set up a membership scheme to allow fans 'early bird' access to the cafe on its opening day, as demand is expected to be high and visiting slots must be reserved in advance.

She has also begun recruiting for staff - having had over 1,000 people contact her to ask about jobs at the business.

The happy couple! Paul Finch and Helen Storey - soon to be Mrs Finch!
