A stunning video, filmed using a high-tech drone, has been created to give overhead views of an unused railway viaduct at the centre of development plans.

The resident-led Holbeck Highline group, which hopes to turn the structure linking Holbeck to Leeds city centre into a cycle and pedestrian park and walkway, is aiming to raise awareness of the project through the video shot by iSky.

South Leeds resident Ed Carlisle, an organiser of the group, claims talks with viaduct owners Network Rail have been “positive” but progress is slow.

He said: “We are really keen to build visibility so people can clock it and be inspired by it.”
