AN INVESTIGATION was under way today after a fire at a shop in Leeds City Station.

The blaze broke out at the front of the Marks & Spencer store at the station at 5.40pm on Friday (July 3) night.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that crews were called to the Leeds Station as smoke was coming out of one of the Marks & Spencer stores signs. She said two crews from Hunslet attended the scene in New Station Street investigating the source of the smoke. A police cordon was set up.
