Young people from Leeds and Castleford were put through their paces today at the Mini Fire Fit Olympics.
They competed in hose racing, a dummy drag relay, water relay, a haul aloft race and an obstacle course, before prizes were awarded in a medal ceremony.
The event at Stanningley Fire Station was held to mark the launch of West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s #FiredUp programme.
It is designed to improve the life chances of young people by boosting confidence and providing practical support.
