A sea of red and white wound its way through the Enchanted Forest at Stockeld Park as the fifth annual Santas on the Run event got under way.
More than 350 runners dressed as Father Christmas took part, tackling between 1K and 5K through the wintry wonderland near Wetherby.
They were hoping to raise as much as £10,000 for nearby Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Gemma Cross, events manager for the charity, said: “It was really magical. It’s the perfect venue for it and there were lots of smiling faces.
“People were getting Christmassy and raising money for a good cause.”
She said some little elves and even a Mrs Claus had sneaked in among the Santas.
