Police have found a man who went missing while visiting Leeds with a friend.

Jeremy Lancaster, 24, had last been seen on Wednesday.

He is originally from Sherwood, Nottingham, but was visiting Leeds with a friend when he went missing.

Officers had grown increasingly concerned for his welfare and issued an urgent appeal for information on his whereabouts.

In an update, a spokesman said Mr Lancaster had now been found safe and well.

“We would like to thank everyone who assisted in sharing the appeal,” he added.
