Unexploded bomb found in Leeds garden

Homes have been evacuated after the discovery of a suspected unexploded Second World War bomb in a garden in Leeds.

Bomb disposal experts have been called to Hawkhill Avenue in Guiseley after a Leeds City Council worker found the device while clearing the garden.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said a cordon has been put in place and several homes have been evacuated.
