International fashion brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein have snapped up sites at the £165m Victoria Gate development.

The new stores will be a Leeds debut for both designers.

Tommy Hilfiger will occupy a 253sq m space on the ground floor, whilst Calvin Klein will open its first standalone shop in Leeds at a 131sq m unit.

The brand’s new store will be a dedicated Calvin Klein Underwear store, offering customers its iconic range of men’s and women’s collections.

Victoria Gate, which also includes a flagship John Lewis store and two arcades, is due to launch later this year.

Robin Dobson, director of retail development at Hammerson, said: “Attracting leading global retailers of the calibre of both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein is testament to Victoria Gate and its potential to create the north’s best in class retail, leisure and dining destination when it launches later this year.”

Other brands that have signed up to the site include GANT, Hackett, Anthropologie, & Other Stories and Cos.

Fine dining international restaurant group, D & D, will also be opening a brand new rooftop restaurant at the development.
