Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into the shooting of a 24-year-old man in Leeds last week.

The victim was treated in hospital and released following the incident in Jackie Smart Court on Wednesday, March 5.

Police had been alerted by hospital staff who were treating the man at about 6pm that day.

The men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested in Leeds on Wednesday.

Another two men, aged 22 and 24, who had previously been arrested have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The case is not being linked to Tuesday’s fatal shooting of 31-year-old Colin Pierre in Gledhow Valley Woods, Chapel Allerton.
