Try bowls for free in Leeds this August
Free taster sessions are being put on at Leeds and District Indoor Bowls club later this month.
The club, based at the John Charles Centre for Sport, are inviting players of all ages and standards to give the game a go on Tuesday, August 30 (12.30-3pm).
Club chairman Steve Bottomley said: “Bowls combines all the best ingredients of sport like excitement, sportsmanship and huge sense of achievement when you get it right.
“This event is a great chance for people who might never have dreamed of playing bowls to come and have a go.”
