Woman rescued from car by firefighters after crash in Leeds

A woman was trapped inside a car after it crashed in Leeds this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Marlborough Street, Woodhouse, at around 3.15pm to reports of a collision.

Firefighters from Leeds worked to free the woman from the vehicle before leaving her in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

No other vehicles were reported to be involved.

Police, fire crews and ambulance staff were seen dealing with the incident at around 10pm last night.
