A man had to be cut out of his car after colliding with another vehicle and smashing into a wall.

The 39-year-old was in a Toyota Yaris that was involved in a collision on Headingley Mount, Headingley, shortly after 2pm.

Firefighters were called to the scene and cut off the roof before removing the man on a long board and transferring him to an ambulance.

He is thought to have suffered minor neck injuries.
