Motorcyclist, 21, in hospital after crash in Wakefield

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Wakefield today (July 9).

The 21-year-old Wakefield man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The incident involved a Daelim 125cc motorbike and a Skoda Fabia car and happened at Barnsley Road in Notton at around 10.45am.

Anyone with information should call the Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit on 101.
