A driver walked away relatively unscathed from this dramatic pile-up in Leeds.

The 21-year-old’s Vauxhall Astra collided with several parked vehicles on Armley Road, between Armley and the city centre, on Saturday morning.

Police, firefighters and the ambulance service were all called to the scene at about 8.15am.

But the man was able to free himself after suffering only minor injuries.

A Renault Clio, a Mini Cooper, a Renault Megane, a Ford Focus and a Peugeot 206 were also damaged.

Police are currently treating the incident as an accident.
