A man was freed from a car by the fire brigade following a crash in Leeds last night.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the vehicle had crashed into a wall and a man was trapped.

Appliances from Leeds attended the scene at Roseville Road, Sheepscar at around 11.45pm.

He was freed and taken to hospital by ambulance.
