Time is running out for athletes of all abilities to get involved in the Age UK Harewood House 10k and 2k events on Sunday.

The YEP-backed challenge will raise funds to support vulnerable older people across the country and locally.

Runners can still register on the day, subject to availability, and they will follow a course around the stunning grounds of Harewood House in north Leeds

Lydia Curran, head of events at Age UK, said: “It’s not too late to sign up and support older people in your area.

“The money raised for Age UK will enable us to continue offering vital support to older people locally and nationally, tackling huge issues like loneliness and isolation.

“If you’d still like to join in please do sign up now or come along and register at the Information Tent on Sunday - we look forward to seeing you.”

To sign up for the event go to www.ageuk.org.uk/10k or call 0800 169 8787.
