Car enthusiasts young and old enjoyed the entertainment yesterday on the final of the VW Festival at Harewood House.

The three-day event, which is billed as the UK’s largest family friendly Volkswagen show, was first established in 2005 and now gets thousands of visitors each year.

This year’s theme was the movies, and one of the attractions was a fancy dress competition, and a ‘show and shine’ contest for the 250 best vehicles at the event.

Among the vehicles on show were camper vans and Beetles. The show has now expanded to include music, fancy dress and grafitti displays.

The happy couple! Paul Finch and Helen Storey - soon to be Mrs Finch!
