WE’VE had the action figures, the sticker albums and scooters so it was about time Frozen favourites Anna and Elsa got their own show.

WE’VE had the action figures, the sticker albums and scooters so it was about time Frozen favourites Anna and Elsa got their own show.

And given that their adventures are set in snow-covered Arendelle, it’s entirely fitting that it’s on ice.

The duo, along with sidekicks Kristoff, Sven and Olaf, are the undoubted main attraction of the latest Disney on Ice tour – but they’re joined by all your Disney favourites in this spectacular show which is at the First Direct Arena until May 17.

Hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, this ice extravaganza features all the best moments and songs from a top-notch selection of Disney’s animated hits.

The likes of Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid all get the magic treatment with astonishing ice dance routines, colourful costumes and ingenious sets.

Even Maximus, the trusty white steed from Tangled, gets to trot and gallop along the ice, later to be joined by four-legged friend Sven, the carrot-obsessed reindeer from Frozen.

And while the other segments in this great value two-hour show dazzle, it’s Frozen that ultimately steals the show.

Anna and Elsa get the biggest cheers of the night and an epic performance of Let It Go prompts a mass singalong with the little ones (and the mums and dads) all joining in.

It’s an enchanting end to a wonderful night that will leave the younger audience members spellbound – yet again – by that trademark Disney fairydust.
