Leeds-based airport parking price comparison company Looking4Parking.com has made its first business acquisition in the southern hemisphere with the purchase of Airport Parking Australia.

And further deals and partnership agreements are said to be on the way for the online firm as it seeks to expand its international operations.

Airport Parking Australia offers parking at 14 airports in Australia and New Zealand and also has link-ups with brands such as Virgin Australia, Jetstar and American Express.

Looking4Parking.com’s Martin Mansell said: “We’re delighted to have made our first acquisition in Australasia which will fast-track our growth in the region.

“We have been actively pursuing acquisitions globally but the Australian and New Zealand market was top of our list and, having explored a number of business opportunities, Airport Parking Australia was the obvious choice for us.

“As well as offering a wide spread of airport coverage, the company has some great partnerships with global brands operating in the region.”

Looking4Parking.com describes itself as the “world’s leading comparison site for low cost airport parking”.
