Tennis mad pooch poppy is at the centre of an ace idea.

The homeless hound is at Dogs Trust Leeds, who have got her to predict the winner of Wimbledon.

The eight-month old crossbreed picked out a ball with Andy Murray’s name on it from a clutch of SW19 hopefuls.

Now she’s hoping tennis fans will visit the York Road centre to make her their number one.

Rehoming centre manager Amanda Sands said: “She’s a lovely little dog who needs a home with owners who are going to work with her to help her fulfil her true potential.”

See www.dogstrust.org.uk or call the centre on 0300 303 0292 for more.
