Teenager in court for attempted murder after stabbing in Leeds

A teenager has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing in east Leeds.

The incident involved two men and took place on April 23 at Lincoln Green Road.

One man, aged 41, was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Jermaine Levi Thompson, aged 19, of Town Street Walk, Leeds, was charged with attempted murder and appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court on Saturday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on May 8.
