A person has suffered serious injuries after falling through the roof of a building in Garforth.

The incident happened just before 7pm on Saturday evening, and a huge emergency service response was sent to the scene at Ninelands Lane, near the skate park.

An air ambulance was called but the casualty was eventually taken to Leeds General Infirmary by road.

Police have now confirmed that the victim was a 13-year-old boy from Garforth who remains in hospital.
