Summer house destroyed in Featherstone arson attack

Police are appealing for information following an arson attack on an outbuilding in Featherstone.

The offence happened at around 11.20pm on Thursday 7 January, when a summer house in the grounds of a property in Ackton Lane was set on fire. The building was completely destroyed in the blaze.

Police are keen to speak to anyone with information about this arson attack or anyone who saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the vicinity around the time of this offence.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wakefield District CID via 101.
