An eye-catching air show has seen remote controlled aircraft take to the skies over south Leeds.

Everything from jet-propelled planes to small-scale gliders entertained passersby during the Middleton Park Air Show yesterday.

South Leeds Aero Modellers Society members brought their models to the park’s clearings for the event.

The air show was the latest in a series of events organised by the Friends of Middleton Park. Visit fomp.co.uk.
