A community store has re-opened after a major £420,000 refurbishment.

To mark the re-opening of the Co-Op in Aberford Road, Woodlesford, staff chose local heroes Mitch Galdas, from Woodlesford in Bloom, and Louise Furness, Woodlesford community charity organiser, to have star status for the day. The duo, pictured, were invited to cut the ribbon to perform the official opening with store manager Phil Roberts.

The pair also received a hamper packed with a host of products from the new store, as well as vouchers to spend inside.
