Soapstars to take on ex Leeds United stars in charity football match

Emmerdale star Danny Miller will be among a showbiz line-up of soapstars and ex-footballers to play in a charity football match in Beeston on Sunday.

Miller (pictured), who plays Aaron Livesey in the Yorkshire-based ITV soap, will appear at the fundraiser for 96.3 Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids charity at the John Charles Centre for Sport from 11.30am.

His team will play for the Once Upon A Smile FC team against former Leeds United stars including Noel Whelan and Kev Sharp as well as Radio Aire presenter Scott Makin and a number of generous listeners who have sponsored the event.

Visitors can also enjoy family-friendly activities including a tombola and snowboard simulator.
