GIRLS ALOUD star Kimberley Walsh will battle it out against other celebrities in The Great British Bake Off.

A special star-studded series of the popular television show will be screened on BBC One next year to help raise money for Sport Relief.

The four-part series features 16 celebrities including Bradford-born star Kimberley, former Leeds MP Ed Balls, comedian Jason Manford, ex-footballer David James and singer Will Young.

Jennifer Saunders, Sarah Millican, Ed Byrne and resident Bake Off presenter Mel Giedroyc will present one episode each.

The series will also follow presenter Clare Balding as she visits Comic Relief projects in Kenya.

Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis will also visit a project in the UK to show how the money raised from Sport Relief will make a difference to people living tough lives around the world and right here in the UK.

Sport Relief runs from Friday, March to Sunday, March 20.
