Stories of dating disasters could win one Leeds hygiene-conscious romantic a champagne afternoon tea for two.

As part of the Food Standards Agency’s (FSA) ‘Look Before You Book’ campaign, urging diners to check restaurants’ food hygiene ratings before going to eat, a date at Browns, in The Headrow, is being offered up ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Whether you’ve been left red-faced after a booking has been cancelled by accident or a fashion faux-pas has left you running for the bathroom, the FSA wants your short dating disaster stories.

Entries of no more than 150 words should be sent to kim.kahan@skvcommunications.co.uk on Friday February 13 before 5pm.

Winners will be notified ahead of Valentine’s Day. Call 0161 8387770 for details.

For more on food hygiene ratings visit www.food.gov.uk/ratings.
