A POP-UP beach and donkey rides helped bring a taste of the seaside to this year’s Seacroft Gala.
The gala, which was held on Seacroft Village Green on Saturday afternoon, has been hailed a big success.
Joanne Curtis, chair of Seacroft Gala Committee, said: “The sun was shining and everyone had a great time. We had a variety of activities from our Talking Tea Tent, where people could enjoy a great cuppa and scrumptious cupcakes.
“Entertainment included Starlight Dance group, who gave a fantastic dance performance.”
“The Seacroft Scruffs Dog Show was as popular as ever. Tuckers fun fair was a hive activity with lots for the kids to enjoy and the bungee jumps were extremely popular.
“The LS14 Trust ‘Pop Up Seaside’ delivered by Kentmere Children’s Centre staff was a great way for the kids to feel as though there were on the beach.
“With the sun shining, who knew we were in Seacroft?”
