Ryanair flying high to mark special Leeds Bradford Airport milestone

City shoppers went loopy today for a soaring flight giveaway to mark the 20th anniversary of Ryanair flying at Leeds Bradford Airport.

The three fastest people to successfully complete the loop of a Ryanair plane shaped buzzwire have each won a pair of return flights to one of Ryanair’s newest destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport - Warsaw.

Europe’s largest airline, which flies to 25 destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport, first started operating from Yorkshire’s gateway airport to Dublin in 1996 and now operates three based aircraft year round. In 2010, Leeds Bradford Airport became Ryanair’s 34th base in Europe and its network of routes from LBA has grown to provide a wide choice of low cost services for Yorkshire passengers travelling to nine countries across Europe.
