Rapper Fetty Wap has been forced to pull out of a concert in Leeds after he was injured in a motorcycle crash in America.

The star had been due to appear at the BBC Radio 1Xtra Live urban music show at the First Direct Arena on Saturday, October 17, before the accident in New Jersey.

An event spokeswoman told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “Unfortunately Fetty Wap will not be able to perform at 1Xtra Live in Leeds following his recent accident, and we are really sorry for all the fans who were looking forward to seeing him perform live. Everyone at 1Xtra wishes him a speedy recovery.”

Tickets have now sold out for the concert, which will still feature the likes of Tinie Tempah, Lethal Bizzle, Krept & Konan, Stormzy, Kid Ink and Flo Rida.
