A bisexual man due to be deported to Jamaica today has had his flight cancelled after a protest was held in Leeds.

Orashia Edwards, 32, fears he will be the target of homophobic attacks.

A petition calling for him to stay in the UK has almost 300 signatures.

Mum Vienna Browne, 52, told the YEP the flight was cancelled but she was still fighting to have him stay in the UK permanently.
